Bird Ringing – a day spent at Lochinver Primary School on 18th February with Tony Mainwood, Golspie and Andy Summers, Highland Council Senior Ranger to demonstrate bird ringing gave the following species which the pupils were able to see – Great Tit 13; Blue Tit 13; Coal Tit 3; Long-tailed Tit 1; Siskin 1; Chaffinch 4; Bullfinch (male) 1; Blackbird 1; and Great Spotted Woodpecker (male) 1
