Woodcock – single bird Torbreck, 3rd November (Grahame Perrie). This bird had flown in to a potato patch but was unable to gain enough height to fly over the fencing. Grahame did release it after taking a quick photograph which shows the stunning tail on this species. Photo at Gallery-Birds.

Larch Ladybird (Aphidecta obliterata)
