Creative Writing – Submission Information

  • Your piece must be submitted in electronic format (either as a word.doc or PDF) so that we can keep in touch with you, but only in connection with your submission
  • If you would like a hand-written version to be published on our website simply scan the original and send us the scanned version
  • If you would like to supply one image along with your piece we will use it in the link to your item. This can be, for example, a selfie or an image related to your piece
  • All pieces received by us will be acknowledged, and we will let you know when it has been published
  • While all submissions will go through a simple vetting process, there will be no editing or correcting of grammar, spelling, etc. by Assynt Field Club
  • You will always retain the copyright in your work, we may however, use all or part of your piece for any, but only, Assynt Field Club promotion or event. You will be fully credited for any such use (see next item)
  • If you would like your piece to be published anonymously please make that clear when you submit it to us. We will still need to have your name along with the submission but it will be published anonymously
  • You can ask for your piece to be removed from our website at any time, no explanation needed. You will however need to use the same email address as used to submit the piece originally
  • This is not a competition
  • There is no fee payable for any pieces published, sorry
  • There are no age restrictions or categories
  • There is no minimum or maximum number of words

We look forward to hearing from you at assyntwildlife@gmail.com

Thank you
