Greenland race of Wheatear at Culkein Stoer 10th Sept (Andy Summers) still there on the 15th Sept (David Haines).

Gales brought in 92 Great Black-backed Gulls to Oldany Esturay 12th Sept (David & Avril Haines).

6 juvenile Curlew Sandpipers 13th Sept (David & Avril Haines). A single one stayed to 15th Sept. (A first record for Assynt)

3 Ruff at Culkein Stoer 13th Sept (David & Avril Haines). A single one stayed to 15th Sept. (Another first for Assynt)

4 Bar-tailed Godwit Culkein Stoer 13th Sept (David & Avril Haines). A single was seen on 15th Sept.

1 Red Knot at Culkein Stoer 13th Sept (David & Avril Haines).

30 Dunlin at Culkein Stoer 13th Sept (David & Avril Haines). All appeared to be juvenile birds. Also 4 Redshank, 4 Ruddy Turnstone, 2 Curlew and 9 Sanderling.
