Recording-Orchids of West Sutherland Talk

On 17 February 2022 we held the third blended talk of our winter programme. We were live in Stoer Hall and on Zoom.

The guest speaker was Ian Evans in his guise as the West Sutherland Recorder for the Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland. Ian has been closely involved with Assynt Field Club for over 30 years and was Chairman for 16 of those!

His talk ‘Orchids of West Sutherland’ generated great interest both in the hall and those attending by Zoom. Several audience members requested a copy of Ian’s list of the orchid species so far recorded in West Sutherland. That list is available here to download.

This post is to make the Zoom recording of Ian’s talk available to anyone at anytime.

Here is the link to Ian’s talk which does not require you to leave our website. Enjoy
