- House Martin: Adult birds feeding two well developed, but unfledged juveniles in nest, Lochinver (DAH). This is a good record as many Martins have struggled to nest successfully this year as a result of the very warm dry spell of weather. - Barrel Jellyfish: Single jelly fish washed up at Balchladdich beach (Andrew Woody). Further records of three of the same species at Stoer beach following week
- European Eel (Anguilla anguilla): Thousands of elvers moving upstream, River Kirkaig (DAH). This movement was visible early morning before the sun had burnt through the low level cloud cover.
