- Fieldfare: 1000+ birds in many smaller flocks from Drumbeg to Elphin. A much smaller number of Redwing were also present in some of these flocks. (DAH)

- Blackbird: Double number birds moving around the area from Loch Poll track to Stoer (DAH). These are almost certainly all winter visitors from the continent. In addition, they were in the main 1st-winter birds.

- Swallow: Single bird, Clachtoll (CADL). Very late
- Grey Wagtail: Single bird feeding in garden, Culkein Drumbeg (DAH). It is exactly one year ago that this species was reported from exactly the same location. It was seen very frequently during the following months with the final sighting being 5th March this year.
- Harbour Porpoise: Four animals foraging off Culkein Drumbeg (DAH)

- Pipistrelle Bat: Four bats, Strathan (Fiona Carter)
- Otter: Single mother and two pups, mouth of river Kirkaig (Fiona Carter). Mother fishing along the shoreline while the pups played in the shallows and along the shoreline. Eventually all 3 made their way across the river and into the seaweed and rocks.
