  • Kittiwake: Six floating on the lagoon at the back of Clashnessie beach (Pete)

  • Water Vole: One vole swimming underwater rapidly in a pond at Ardvar (Beccy Garvey)

  • Chiffchaff: Heard calling in the garden at Ardvar (Beccy Garvey)
  • Speckled Wood butterfly: One in Culag Woods, just up from the Sawmill area (Jane Livingstone)
  • Pied Wagtail: Two at Blairstarn/Clashmore, Stoer - first sighting this year at their breeding site (Jane Livingstone)

  • White-tailed Bumblebee: One very active in warm sun and feeding on Hyacinth flowers, Blairstarn/Clashmore, Stoer (Jane Livingstone)
  • Lapwing: Six, displaying in flight, Culkein Stoer (Jane Livingstone)
  • Common Buzzard: A pair at possible kill site or nesting spot on cliffs, Clashnessie (PW)
