Raven’s Rock Gorge and Nature Trail, near Rosehall, East Sutherland

A striking gorge with excellent paths and boardwalks, in plantation woodland off the road to Invershin, near Rosehall (NC497008), about an hour’s drive from Lochinver. Some uncommon plants and a good place for fungi. Meet at the Highland Council Carpark, behind the Culag Hotel, Lochinver (NC091222) at 10.30am to facilitate the sharing of transport. Please bring lunch. This event is free and suitable for any level of expertise and reasonable fitness, but sturdy footwear is recommended.
