Recording – Mammals of NW Scotland

The guest speaker for our indoor meeting on Thursday 28th November 2024 was Matt Larsen-Daw of The Mammal Society.

The full title of Matt’s talk was – “Mammals of North West Scotland”

Matt who is the Chief Executive Officer of the Mammal Society had previously spent five years at WWF, leading education programmes – including involvement with the Sir David Attenborough BBC series Wild Isles.

This thoroughly enjoyable talk provided an insight into the lives and behaviours of the incredible animals inhabiting the hills, moors, coastline and seas of Assynt and beyond.

This post is to ensure a live recording of Matt’s presentation is available to anyone at anytime.

The file size means we have to lodge these presentations on our YouTube channel. Therefore, this link to the recording of Matt’s presentation will take you away from our website. Please come back and see us again.

Thank you and enjoy.

If this post and the linked recording have peaked your interest in Assynt’s mammals then please check out these species sections on our website Land Mammals and Marine.
