Bringing Beavers Back to the Park, with Jonathan Willet (Cairngorms National Park Authority)

After an absence of 400 years, beavers were re-introduced to the upper River Spey catchment in the Cairngorms National Park in 2023. Numbers have increased to over 60 and Jonathan has been responsible for monitoring their activities, liaising with landowners and raising the awareness of the public to these fascinating rodents.
The start time for the talk is 7.30 pm in Stoer Hall. Admission is on a ‘pay what you can’ basis (suggested donation £3). Under 16s are free. Refreshments are provided after the talk.
