Life-sized Humpback Whale visits Lochinver Village Hall

Join Assynt Field Club, Highlife Highland Rangers and Whale and Dolphin Conservation to celebrate our whales and dolphins.  We will have a full-sized inflatable humpback whale ‘Hope’ for you to meet and have a guided tour inside, and a talk about spotting Whales and Dolphins from our coastline – what to look out for and when.  We are fortunate to have one of the best pieces of coastline for whale and dolphin watching in Scotland.  There will also be exhibits and activities for children.

At Lochinver Village Hall.  Visit ‘Hope’ from 1.30-2.30, then 3-4pm.  Talk is at 2.30pm.  Suggested donations are £2 ‘Hope’ visit, £3 talk.

Later on that day, we will be at Stoer Head lighthouse for our annual whale and dolphin watch, 6-8pm.  See separate notice.
