Our Living Landscape-Free Mini-festival

This mini-festival runs from 26 February to 8 March 2022. It has been organised by the Coigach and Assynt Living Landscape Partnership (CALLP) thanks to funding from the National Heritage Lottery Fund.

Assynt Field Club are pleased to be part of the free drop-in event ‘From Brochs to Butterflies’ on Sunday 27 February at Lochinver Village Hall’s Community Room from 2-4pm.

Ourselves and Historic Assynt will be present to offer you a flavour of the amazing heritage and wildlife of Assynt. There will be replica finds from the Clachtoll broch excavations, weird and wonderful wildlife specimens, and online talks.

You can enjoy a cuppa and cake, and live music from the Coigach & Assynt Collection.

There will also be a selection of books available for sale, including our own Butterflies of Assynt booklet.
