Ranger Guided walk at Achmelvich

[Please note this is not an Assynt Field Club event. We are advertising the Highlife Highland Countryside Ranger events for Assynt to help support the vital work of the Ranger Service, and to offer more opportunities to learn about the area]

Guided walk to see early orchids, jewelled rocks and marvellous machair as we walk along a coastline steeped in crofting history, to the old mill at Altanabradhan. We will see early specialists and some migrant birds.

The total length of the walk is 6km, over rough path with a few steep steps. Suitable for families but reasonable level of fitness required.

Bring packed lunch.
