Ranger Guided walk to Clachtoll Broch and coastal walk

[Please note this is not an Assynt Field Club event. We are advertising the Highlife Highland Countryside Ranger events for Assynt to help support the vital work of the Ranger Service, and to offer more opportunities to learn about the area]

Ranger led guided coastal walk through the crofting township of Clachtoll, rich in wildlife, to the iron-age broch. Hear about the new discoveries of the recent excavation, stories of how the iron age people lived and catastrophic collapse that ended it all. Watch out for early migrant birds and great northern divers and see signs of otters and maybe cetaceans.

Bring packed lunch. This is a 4km walk for over 18’s
