The lost township of Dubh Clais, Lochinver

[Please note this is not an Assynt Field Club event. We are advertising the Highlife Highland Countryside Ranger events for Assynt to help support the vital work of the Ranger Service]

Join us on this Ranger led guided walk near Lochinver to the ruins of the Highland clearance township at Dubh Clais and learn about how they lived. Lots of woodland and river edge wildlife to see as well, including signs of otters, herons, black-throated divers and woodpeckers. Fantastic views to Suilven and beyond. This path is boggy in places. Total length 8km. Bring packed lunch. Meet outside Lochinver Village hall.
