The Whales and Dolphins of the Minch with Katie Dyke (Whale and Dolphin Conservation)
Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) is the leading global charity dedicated to the conservation and protection of whales and dolphins. Local communities are central to WDC’s work in Scotland through the Shorewatch Programme. There is a Shorewatch group based in Assynt, with volunteers regularly carrying out watches at Clachtoll and Stoer Head.
The start time for the talk is 7.30 pm in Stoer Hall. Admission is on a ‘pay what you can’ basis (suggested donation £3). Under 16s are free. Refreshments are provided after the talk.
