Restoration of Natural Processes following Reduction of Deer on Ben Hope and Ben Loyal Estates with Adele Beck (Great Glen Ecology)

Several years of pioneering work has been carried out by the Ben Hope and Ben Loyal Estates, encouraging the natural regeneration of tree cover by the management of deer numbers on the estates.   Adele Beck of Great Glen Ecology Ltd has been monitoring progress so far and will share the latest findings with us.  Could the Ben Hope model be used elsewhere in the Highlands?

The start time is 7.30pm in Rhue Stoer Community Hall.  Admission for adults is £3, with under 16s free.  Refreshments are provided after the talk.

This will be a blended talk with both a live audience and others joining us by Zoom.

Field Club members will receive the Zoom link automatically. If you are not a member but would like to attend the meeting via Zoom please email us (assyntwildlife@gmail.com) and simply request the link.

Any queries to the Secretary, Gwen Richards (01571 844032) or Chair, Andy Summers (01571 844654/855309)
