Guided Walk to the top of Quinag

[Please note this is not an Assynt Field Club event. We are advertising the Highlife Highland Countryside Ranger events for Assynt to help support the vital work of the Ranger Service, and to offer more opportunities to learn about the area]

Explore this fantastic Assynt mountain (808m) with our partners from the North West Highlands Global Geopark. Look for Mountain Hares and Ptarmigan and learn about the ice-age that the shaped this mountain.

This is a strenuous walk for adults. Participants must have good fitness for steep and rocky terrain and bring appropriate outdoor clothing, footwear and lunch. The distance is 14km.

This walk is subject to good weather conditions and if the weather is not good, we will do a shorter low-level walk. Meet at the walkers car park, on the A894 road
